Once again it has been forever since I've posted. Four months to be exact.. too long... long enough to forget my username and password! Anyway a lot has happened. Most exciting I graduated with my A.A and my A.S. with Biology in Pre-nursing! Woo Hoo =) I've applied to four different nursing schools and should find out in June which program I'm accepted into (speaking in faith!). So since I graduated last semester I haven't been in school this semester and I have to admit I am loving the nice break but I am also missing school too (never thought I would say that). But I guess it's a good thing to enjoy learning right? =) I am currently looking for another part time job since I have some spare time now.. One of my greatest friends, Anna (and Chris) got married in April. A stunning bride and beautiful wedding! Rachel and Steven are tying the knot in July! And... (drumroll please) I'm getting married in.......... Jk got ya! I'll get married one of these days lol.
Lucas got hired at Mikuni in Elk Grove =) We are co-workers now. It's fun! He's a sushi chef and I'm a hostess/cashier (just got promoted to cashiering which was nice!)Ummm what else.. Oh ya! My mom, sisters, and I went to San Diego for spring break! That was a lot of fun. We went to a few beaches, Seaport Village, shopped, ate, shopped, ate and shopped =) Created a lot of new memories =) My mom was munching on a piece of Red Licorice and ran a red light. I got sunburnt REALLLLY bad. Stephanie moves a lot in her sleep...and talks! We went to a great mexican restaurant but the lady was really rude.. when our food was ready she slammed down the tray and yelled, "BURRITO!!" We went to bath junkie and met a lady with a really funny lady. Precious Sis. McGruder recently passed away. Please keep Bro. McGruder, Sis. Wilson and the family in your prayers. So many lives were changed (including mine) by her ministry. I will never forget her powerful songs and her dedicated love and Spirit to the kingdom of God. She was a true Christian. Through her songs you could feel the sincerity and true love that she felt not only for God but for the people she was ministering too. I will never forget the many ladies retreats that we were blessed to have her. Yesterday was Mothers Day which was very nice! My grandma, mom's brother and his wife and kids, Kate and Philip came over for a delicious lunch. Later Lucas, Trav, Heidi, and Coco came over to play games and watch a documentary... that was fun =)
Well that's it for now... I'll try and post more for the few people that still blog lol. Have a great rest of the day

Reflections
Another year has gone by and 2009 is now behind us. This past year many experienced change. Although everything may not make sense to me now, I am sure it all will in the end. This past year has been a good one for me, many exciting things have happened and God has been faithful as always. I think the most important thing that happened to me this year was the respect and thankfulness that I have developed to our ministry at The Rock Church. Don't get me wrong, I've always had respect and have been thankful for the Young's and Wilson's but this year, lets just say my eyes were opened. I have seen our ministry stand strong and continue to preach truth AND holiness when others around them are not. People have made fun of them, yet they have kept a Christian attitude through it all.
In 2009 there were a handful of people that left The Rock Church (of course I am not sure of all the reasons) but I have made the decision that The Rock Church is MY church. Pastor Young, Bishop Wilson, Sis. Young and Sis. Wilson are MY spiritual leaders. I am going to follow them. I know God has his hand upon the ministry at TRC. God has great things in store for TRC in 2010 and I am excited that I am going to be a part of it. In 2010, I am going to be more committed to God, my ministry, and the leadership that I have chosen to follow. Nothing will stop me from walking the narrow way. Nothing will stop me from living with standards of holiness. Nothing will stop me from following the leaders God has placed in my life. After all, what else is going to matter in the end?

Chocolate Math
I have no idea how this works but its pretty neat! DON'T CHEAT BY SCROLLING DOWN FIRST! It takes less than a minute . Work this out as you read . Be sure you don't read the bottom until you've worked it out!
1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like to have chocolate (more than once but less than 10)
2. Multiply this number by 2 (just to be bold)
3. Add 5
4. Multiply it by 50 -- I'll wait while you get the calculator
5. If you have already had your birthday this year add 1759 ..If you haven't, add 1758.
6.. Now subtract the four digit year that you were born.

- You should have a three digit number
- The first digit of this was your original number(i.e.., how many times you want to have chocolate each week).
- The next two numbers are... YOUR AGE!!!

I'M A ONE GOD APOSTOLIC TONGUE TALKIN BELIEVER!!

Bro. Young preached two amazing sermons on Sunday! Thank you Pastor Young for teaching us on salvation Sunday morning. I am so privileged to have a pastor and bishop that take time to lead and teach their saints about things that are so important that so many people overlook. Thank you to the Wilson's' and Young's for standing for truth and not backing down!
Sis. Wilson and Sis. Young, you both never cease to amaze me with your true spirits, dedication to the work of God, and your countless hours and days of fasting and praying. You will forever be my hero's. I/ The Rock Church are blessed to have you as our leaders!

Life
I am sure many, if not all of you, have heard about Michael Jackson's death. Today he passed away, at the young of 50, due to cardiac arrest. He lived a life full of popularity, wealth, sin, and fame. No, I am not a Michael Jackson fan but when I heard of his death today I was troubled and the first thought that came to mind was, "I definitely wouldn't want to be in his shoes right now!" Throughout his growing career, so many people idolized Michael Jackson, despite the many sickening things he did and was accused for. I stop and think for a moment, "I wonder if he ever heard about the truth? If anyone ever witnessed to him?"Today, I am once again reminded how quickly life passes by and how in a moment, sometimes when we least expect it, it's gone. Life is definitely a vapor but the God we serve is forever! Thank God for truth and the opportunity that I have had to hear and live it. Incidents like this that are so sudden, make me want to make sure I am ready for the coming of the Lord because who knows when He will come! Or who knows when your day may come... Although life outside of church may bring temporary pleasure and it may seem fun for a while, is it really worth it? I am burdened for the people that have strayed away from truth these past few years. I am praying for every backslider. Praying that God will make you miserable in your sin, that He will have mercy on you, that He will soften your heart and clear the confusion in your mind. If any backslider reads this, know that I am praying for you (along with many others) and love you.
To those that haven't fallen astray, lets keep pressing on and growing in Jesus =)
